Candice Manganaro, DVM

Dr. Candice Manganaro completed her bachelor's degree in science at the University of Central Florida before moving to Gainesville where she obtained her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from the University of Florida in 2009. As a canine/feline general practitioner in Central Florida, she values client education and stresses the team approach - that the families and veterinarians work together to care for pets. She works hard to ensure that owners understand as much of the exam, diagnostics, and diagnoses/treatment as possible and always works with owners to come up with appropriate treatment plans for each individual situation. At home she has two dogs (X and Peanut - beagles) and one cat (an owner surrender named Sphinx). She is married to her high school sweetheart George and they have three daughters together (Claire, Caitlin, and Cammy). On her off time she enjoys baking and traveling. She is a Trekkie and also loves the Marvel franchise and other 'nerdy' things.
