Checking In
Clients may need additional time to process the initial conversation, and further discussion may need to occur at a different time. If a client seems overwhelmed with information, schedule another time to continue the discussion. Veterinarians that have an open approach to the conversation, acknowledge the client’s goals or ideas, and balance the discussion with QOL may develop a deeper connection with the client, improving client compliance.
